Editorial policy

How the Journal is sourced and how reference and opinion are kept apart.

Version 0.1 · In effect from

This policy covers everything published in the Journal.

Sourcing

Every factual claim that rests on data, a rule or an event cites its source, and each article ends with its source list. Primary sources are preferred: the platform’s own policy, the law itself, the study rather than a report of it. When a source is uncertain or a number is an estimate, the article says so.

Reference and opinion are kept apart

Reference pages, guides and analysis stay neutral. They describe what is known and who says it.

Opinion is published only in pieces labelled as opinion at the top of the page. The studio has views on the adult games industry, and that is where it argues them.

First-hand claims

An article says “I played”, “I tested” or “in my experience” only when that is true. Experience is not invented to make a page more convincing.

Other studios’ games

Games by other studios are covered under the recommendations policy.

Dates and updates

Each article shows the date it was published and, when it has been revised, the date it was updated. Policy and platform rules change, and articles are revised when they do.

Corrections

Errors are fixed under the corrections standard.

Who writes

The Journal is written by V. Wright, the studio’s founder. Articles are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed and approved by him, as the AI disclosure standard sets out.
